Ban on selling ‘locked’ mobile phones
Some of the UK Mobile Phone providers sell locked mobile phones so they cannot be used on another network. Ofcom is now proposing to ban the sale of locked mobile devices to remove this extra hurdle for customers.

After an eleven-month investigation, Ofcom found Fareham based service provider 'Onestream' guilty of Telephone Slamming and fined them £35,000.
Information, Connection and Signposting Services (ICSS) update
The PSA has introduced new Special conditions for all ICSS which will come in to force on 20 December 2019. The new special conditions aim to reduce confusion and protect people from high call charges when using an ICSS.
