I want to start by saying big thank you to all of our customers and wish you and your families the very best for Christmas and the New Year. As we approach 2020, I want to take a look back at some of our achievements, some industry news and to share some of our plans for the coming year.
Ban on selling ‘locked’ mobile phones
Some of the UK Mobile Phone providers sell locked mobile phones so they cannot be used on another network. Ofcom is now proposing to ban the sale of locked mobile devices to remove this extra hurdle for customers.
Ofcom fines company for 'Telephone Slamming'
After an eleven-month investigation, Ofcom found Fareham based service provider 'Onestream' guilty of Telephone Slamming and fined them £35,000.
Information, Connection and Signposting Services (ICSS) update
The PSA has introduced new Special conditions for all ICSS which will come in to force on 20 December 2019. The new special conditions aim to reduce confusion and protect people from high call charges when using an ICSS.
070 Personal Numbers released
We’re pleased to announce the release of 300,000 new 070 Personal Numbers. These Numbers can now be purchased on our website and in our customer control panel – myTTNC.
New rules for phone-paid subscription services
The Phone-paid Services Authority (PSA) introduced new rules for Phone-paid subscription services which came into effect on the 1st November 2019.

Download your call data records (CDR’s) and you will see your phone number tags on CDR downloads.
10 million numbers released
Ofcom introduces new 020 4 number range for London. Ofcom has today announced the release of 10 million new phone number for the London area.
New Framework for fairness
