How-to: Use Your Own Greeting and Information Recordings

How-to /

Adding a customised message to your number's functionality, not only gives a professional appearance but also can keep your callers up to date with products, opening times, special offers and much more.

There are 6 Bolt Ons that can be added to your TTNC numbers which use a customised recording, these are:

      • Voicemail Pro - A bespoke greeting a caller will hear before leaving a message, accessible in myTTNC.
      • Call Greeting - A customised message played at the start of a call, welcoming callers and assuring that they're through to the right place. Once completed the call will be forwarded.
      • Information Line - Similar to Call Greeting, but once the custom message is played the call terminates. Great to showcase new products or as a Disaster Recovery solution.
      • Virtual Receptionist - Advanced call handling, presenting your callers with options to select from, to streamline your call handling.
      • Call Queueing - A simple queueing solutions, which allow a customised periodic message to play every 15-60 seconds, informing the caller of products, services or simply that their call will be answered soon.
      • Call Whisper - Different to the previous Bolt Ons, a call whisper only plays to you when you answer a call. By default the message is "business call", but this can be customised, so you know which of your TTNC numbers the caller dialled or which option was pressed.
