We hope you're enjoying the summer and managing to stay cool. Just a few weeks ago we were questioning whether we would see much of a summer, now we have a "High-Temperature Awareness" poster on the notice board in our office!
Saying that, the skies are looking gloomy today. Was that our summer?

Softphone Launch

Following the launch of our Softphone App earlier in July, we're really pleased to see that lots of you have downloaded the App and are now using it every day to make and receive calls.
If you haven't downloaded the Softphone App yet or would like more information, visit our Softphone App for Mobile page for more information.

Internships

At last year's Christmas party, our Technical Director's partner shamelessly hassled me to take on one of her former students as an intern this summer. Although I was slightly reluctant at the time, and it's not something I'd done before, I agreed to her proposition, and so at the beginning of July, we welcomed Jake Hillion to our Development team.
Jake is studying Computer Science at Queens College, Cambridge and is proving to be handy to have around. Welcome aboard Jake, we hope you find us as useful as we find you! This is something we will do again, so thanks, Lucy!

Daniel leaving

Some of you have spoken to Daniel in our Design and Development team over the last few years. I'm sad to let you know that he's moving back to his native Sweden next week and we're going to miss him A LOT. Everyone at TTNC wishes him good luck and all the best for the future. Sad times.

Product and Service News

3CX Certification

Some of the technical team are currently working on interoperability testing with 3CX, an open standards IP PBX that offers complete unified communications.

We expect to finish the interop within the next few weeks and once completed, TTNC will be certified as a 3CX SIP Trunk and VoIP Provider. This saves customers countless hours of configuration and guarantees that everything works perfectly, right out of the box.

Zapier Integration

We've also been working on the finishing touches to our Zapier App, which we plan to launch later this month. If you don't know anything about Zapier; it is a tool that allows you to connect apps and services you use every day, to automate tasks and save time. To learn more about Zapier and what it can do, visit the Zapier website or read our blog post about Zapier.
