New office
After a year-long refurbishment project on a 120-year-old building in the centre of Chelmsford, we're pleased to announce we have now settled into our new office. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would like to thank everyone involved. It's a great environment to work in and to meet with our customers and business partners. Award winners!
You may remember from our last newsletter that we were on a shortlist for an industry award. Well on the 24th May, we attended the Annual ITSPA Industry Awards to find out that we had beaten 70 other companies from around the world, to win the award for Best VoIP Vertical Solution for 2018, for developing and providing a Call Tracking solution for Countrywide PLC, the United Kingdom's largest estate agency group.
It's nice to be recognised by our peers and the industry for all the teams' hard work and even better for customers to know that our solution is judged to be the best out there. Well done to all the team.
Website update
Some of you may have noticed changes to our website. We've given it a fresh new look as well as reducing the number of pages, simplifying the main navigation menu and updating some online ordering processes. We will continue working on the design and user experience.
Enhancements and new services
We are always working on enhancing our existing services as well as introducing new services, based mostly on customer feedback. Much of last month was spent working on infrastructure projects and some small updates to services within the myTTNC portal; more details are below.
New Technical Director
Congratulations to Michael Burton for being appointed TTNC's Technical Director. Michael was also mostly responsible for winning our award. Well done Michael!
GDPR — just an update
Even though GDPR is a distant memory, we are still receiving a few questions about it, and we would like to remind everyone that we are fully compliant. For information concerning GDPR, please view our updated Privacy Policy and our GDPR blog post.
New and enhanced features
Google Analytics - Offline Call Tracking
Customers are now able to set an alias for a Number such as "Yellow Pages" or "Telegraph Advert" and send it to Google Analytics as the type of "Medium" used for offline advertising.
Management for Voice over IP phones
We already supply pre-configured IP Phones; we can now provide ongoing management on these phones such as configuration changes and real-time firmware updates.
Webhooks for Inbound Calls
Fixed an issue with webhooks. A Webhook can be triggered whenever someone makes a call to a TTNC Number, and provide other applications (such as CRM's, Live Chat, etc.) with real-time information.
SMS bundles & pricing
We have refreshed the SMS pages on our website and introduced new lower pricing for sending bulk SMS. The SMS bundles can now also be purchased directly from our website.
