Changes to our call logs and data storage
When GDPR came in to effect in May this year, we made some changes to our platform and altered the way we collect, handle, and store data.
Since then, many customers have asked us to provide them with data that is more than 90 days old, because the changes we made meant that this data was archived, and no longer available in our platform.
Some customers have requested that we make this data available again, and after taking legal advice and considering GDPR, we are pleased to say that we have now made the following changes:
Updates to Call Data Records (CDRs)
Call Logs, Call Data and CDR’s will now be for a period of 12 months (not 90 days). We will then archive this data for 6 years as per our legal requirements.
Updates to SMS Messages and SMS logs
SMS messages won't be removed from the platform, they will be available to view in the platform for the lifetime of an account. Both Inbound and Outbound SMS logs will be available for 12 months (not 90 days).
Updates to Fax Messages and Fax logs
Inbound Fax messages won't be removed from the platform, they will be available to download or view in the platform for the lifetime of an account. Both Inbound and Outbound Fax logs will be available for 12 months (not 90 days).
