Number 1 in 2 categories!

Last month we were celebrating being awarded a TrustScore of 5 by Trustpilot, the best rating possible on the world’s largest review platform. This month we’re celebrating being ranked as number 1 in the Phone and Internet Services category and number 1 in the Telecommunications Service Provider category! It’s great to be recognised and I’d like to congratulate all the team and also say a big thank you to everyone who has given us a review. Thank You!

Reversal of 070 number renewal charges

We reversed the decision of introducing a renewal charge on 070 numbers to existing customers this month. We pride ourselves on being open, honest and fair and we realised that it wasn't right for us to introduce a renewal charge to existing customers who thought they had paid a one-off charge for their number many years ago. We've now refunded everyone who paid the charge and we apologise for making this mistake.

New team member

We would like to give a warm welcome to Rodrigo Segura, who joins our team as a Graphic Designer and Web Developer. Rodrigo has a huge amount of design experience and will be taking us to the next level in terms of branding and design. We can't wait to see what he does and we're looking forward to working with him.

Whitelist for outbound CLI's

If you are using our SIP Trunk service, you will now be able to set up your PBX to use any of your TTNC numbers as an outbound CLI. This means you can dynamically change the outbound CLI as and when required. You are also able to add third party numbers to a whitelist and present them as an outbound CLI once we have verified the number.

Call Stats update

We have added some new 'Reason' codes for Rejected Calls in our Call Stats pages in myTTNC. If you are using our VoIP service to make outbound calls and you try to call a destination that is blacklisted or a destination that costs more than the default limit of 7.5p per minute, you will now see "Rejected" in the Status column and the actual reason for us rejecting the call; Destination blacklisted will show when the number is on our global blacklist and Destination restricted will show when the call charges to the number are higher than your call charge limit. Please contact us if you would like to increase the limit.

Tags now included in CDR downloads

Although we introduced the concept of using Tags years ago, it seems we overlooked the obvious and didn’t include them in any CSV downloads within myTTNC! We’ve finally rectified this oversight so now when you download your call data records (CDR’s), you will see all of the tags associated with a number against each call record.
