Use time plans to match your number to your business hours
Luckily not all of us are on call 24/7 and have far more reasonable working hours. But there's nothing worse than someone calling outside of work hours because your virtual number is still forwarding as it does during the day. It can be even worse when they call late at night or in the early hours of the morning (I don’t even like waking up for my alarm clock, never mind someone calling me). Thankfully, there are a couple of ways to prevent these calls coming through.
At your open and closed times, you can always log into myTTNC and manually make changes to your call forwarding setup. You might want to forward to an alternative number out of hours or just go straight to voicemail. You could even set up an Information Line to inform callers of your business hours and when to call you back.
Alternatively, you could stick your phone on ‘do not disturb’ or just ignore any incoming calls. Probably not the best customer service.

All of those alternatives are a bit of a hassle. Whilst myTTNC is much easier to use than the Novero Platform, it’s not ideal having to log in twice a day - and what if you forget to do it? Ignoring your calls isn’t going to make your callers happy either.
Our Time Based Forwarding service allows you to create time plans to suit your business. Say you have the same work hours as us; Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Create a time plan with these times and set it to forward to the destination(s) you want.
Then you can create another time plan (or just use our catch all plan) to control your out of hours service. This could be a different destination, or as mentioned, Voicemail, Information Line etc.
You can even have multiple time plans throughout the day. If you don’t want to answer any calls during your lunch hour, simply create an hour long time plan and place that at the top of your list of time plans. Remember, the higher the time plan is in the list, the higher the priority it has.
