I also want to thank everyone in the TTNC team for all their hard work and dedication to driving the company forward and making our customers happy, thank you!

Recap for 2019

As we approach 2020, I want to take a look back at some of our achievements, some industry news and to share some of our plans for the coming year.

It's been an incredible year for TTNC, and we have continued to grow in all the right areas; customers, team, awards and revenue!

Awards and accolades in 2019

This year saw us winning our second award from the Internet Telephony Service Providers Association (ITSPA). This year's award was for being the UK's best Small Office, Home Office (SOHO) VoIP Provider, something we are very proud of and will continue to strive for.

Our focus on providing the best customer service and solutions in the industry also paid off when we reached the No. 1 spot on Trustpilot. We are rated as Excellent and have the highest possible 'Trustscore' which is 5 out of 5.

Growing in 2019

Our customer base has grown to an all-time high, and a record number of new customer have joined us this year. We are also delighted to see many of our existing customers are renewing or expanding their services with us.

As a business, we got a little older this year and celebrated our fifteenth birthday! This is a real milestone in the communications industry, and we're proud to have been trading healthily for the last fifteen years.

Products and services for 2019

The last twelve months has probably been one of our busiest and most productive years in terms of developing products and services. One of the most popular and widely used products we released this year was the TTNC Softphone App, which is used with our Voice over IP (VoIP) services.

We also launched our Zapier App, which is currently in 'early access mode' and waiting for more people to use it before the main release. Please check it out if you haven't already as many of our customers are finding it very useful.

Other updates and releases include; Concatenated SMS, CLI Whitelists for SIP Trunks, more International Numbers on offer, Call Statistics updates, API updates, lots of new content for our Help Centre, 070 Number ranges released and lower SMS charges.

Industry and regulation in 2019

Ofcom (the communications regulator for the UK) has been busy rolling out new rules and proposals throughout the year.

Most of the new rules introduced are to protect consumers and include new rules for ending contracts and offering best deals, new rules for nuisance calls and text messages, new rules for phone-paid subscription services and capping the price to call 118 and 070 numbers.

Ofcom also introduced extra protection for consumers porting numbers to a new provider and started trialling the concept of using Blockchain for number management.

A look at 2020

We're all looking forward to having a break over the Christmas period, but we're keen to get started on our new projects and plans for 2020 which include:

• A new version of our control panel with better reseller functionality.
• Releasing a new REST API and retiring our current API.
• Updating our Website and Help Centre with our new branding.
• Releasing a session-based Call Tracking service, including dynamic number insertion.
• Obtaining ISO27001 and ISO9001 certification.
• Growing the team with talented people.
• Winning more awards.

We hope that 2020 will be as exciting and rewarding as 2019 was, and we look forward to helping all of our customers over the next year.
